Mediterranean Diet (Malaysia Version) in menopause
Mediterranean diet has the strongest evidence for heart and cognitive health postmenopause. Malaysian version: kembung/sardin fish (omega-3), tofu/tempeh (halal phytoestrogens), local vegetables (kangkung, bayam, kacang panjang), local fruits (papaya, guava, betik), olive or coconut oil, whole grains (brown rice, oats). Reduce refined sugar, excess red meat.
